If you are working on an Erasmus+ application form, you will need to add the partner organizations, that’s why you will need to know their Organisational ID NUMBER. In this article we will explain how to get the OID number Erasmus+.
WHAT IS THE OID NUMBER?
Is a unique code that each organization need to get to take part in a EU project like Erasmus+ project. Is composed by 1 letter and 8 numbers and you will need just few steps to discover if you already have one or you need to make a new one.
DID YOUR ORGANIZATION ALREADY HAVE A PIC NUMBER?
If the answer is YES, the portal will automatically create a new OID number, so you don’t have to make nothing, just search for your number on the web page, like the image you can see here:
PIC number will be used for centralized actions (those forms you have to apply directly to EACEA)
HOW TO GET THE OID NUMBER?
If you are a newcomer and need an OID number, just follow these few steps and you can forget about this in the next 7 years!
STEP 1: GO THE OFFICIAL WEB PAGE AND REGISTER YOUR ORGANIZATION
You need to link on this offical web page: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/erasmus-esc/organisation-registration/screen/home
STEP 2: CREATE AN EU LOGIN OR USE YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD
if you already have an EU login, just put your username and password to enter and start editing the form with your details
STEP 3: EDIT THE FORM TO GET THE OID NUMBER ERASMUS+
As you can see, you will need to add the organization details, including VAT, legal person and contact person (could be the same).
STEP 4: REGISTER YOUR ORGANIZATION TO GET THE OID NUMBER
Once you have filled all the mandatory field, you will be able to register and get immediately the Organization ID number
Et voilá! You are now able to apply for an Erasmus+ project.
