the story of angèle

As part of the completion of my Master’s degree, I was required to undertake an internship. To find an opportunity related to my field of study, I explored the European Union’s websites, searching for Europe Direct Centres and Eurodesk offices across Europe. I then applied to several organizations that matched my interests.
I was accepted for a three-month internship at Ingalicia. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the team and quickly entrusted with responsibilities. This supportive environment helped me feel comfortable and integrated from the very beginning.
During my internship, I had the opportunity to learn more about European mobility and engagement programmes, such as the European Solidarity Corps and the French Civic Service (Service Civique). I also discovered the various projects implemented by Ingalicia and actively participated in some of them, which allowed me to gain valuable practical experience.
Finally, this internship has been particularly beneficial for the writing of my Master’s thesis, which focuses on the importance of soft power within the European Union. Through my experience at Ingalicia, I have been able to better understand how European programmes and international cooperation contribute to promoting European values and strengthening the EU’s influence.
