Every year Ingalicia host a lot of young guys from all over the word in the frame of Leonardo da Vinci, Erasmus (Student-Placement), Grundtvig and Youth in Action projects. As an Host Organisation we work finding accommodation, internship, language courses and support to the participants.

Location
A Coruña, middle-sized town (250,000 inhabitants) at the NW of Spain. Communications: there is an airport (national and international), 10 km away but also another 60 kms. away, in Santiago de Compostela (holy city, end of the Jacob’s Way) and capital of the Autonomous Community of Galicia. A Coruña is the most dynamic city of Galicia. It is a well developed financial city, and economic heart of Galicia. In it we can find the Tower of Hercules, only active Roman lighthouse in the world, recently chosen as Human Heritage by the UNESCO. The municipal attention service to citizens has many civic centres, different youth information centres, 3 hospitals and many primary health centres. Culture: 3 theatres, 1 congress hall, 1 exhibition site, 4 sport facilities. It also hosts different competitions, musical and cultural shows.
About Ingalicia
The Cultural Association InGalicia was officially founded in 2007 to favour the Community spirit and integration and promote awareness about the European culture among youth. Thus, we present the organization as a tool to help and support professional traineeships, learning of foreign languages and improvement of the Euro pean working sistem. Ingalicia has an experience of many years in the International mobility sector as hosting/sending organization for the Leonardo Da Vinci, Erasmus Placement, Gruntvig and Youth in Action programs; we work as intermediary between European Union and the concern where the grantholder does his training. We are also an EURODESK local partner. Our main activities include also the organization of visits and meetings, European planning for public entities regarding youth, sport, local economic development, culture and cooperation with developing countries. We believe that a transnational experience could offer young people the opportunity to grow within a European dimension through their personal and professional skills, so they could be the main characters of the European future.
Host Organisation
Ingalicia has established several partnerships with European institutions (Companies/SMEs, Training Organisations, Universities, Institutes) for the development of Mobility projects. As an host organisation, Ingalicia organise, for several types of target groups/all professional areas:
– Transfer from/to airport
– Accommodation in the centre of A Coruña
– Meals (half-board or full-board)
– Local transports
– Linguistic and cultural preparation
– Placement in companies, according to the
professional profile of the beneficiaries or
education background
– Permanent follow-up / tutoring and monitoring
– Certification and validation of skills.
Accommodation
The participants will be accomodated in apartments with single or double rooms and however there is the opportunity to share the apartment with participants coming from other countries in order to improve the cultural and social exchange. All apartments are equipped with kitchen and kitchen utensils, washing machine a large fridge, table, chairs and bathroom with shower. The apartments are located in the centre of the city near Ingalicia, the language school and a lot of company partners. Besides the area is served by an urban and extra urban public bus service and every other comfort.
Tutoring
Ingalicia team is made up by professionals and volunteers with the will to improve the mobility system by the promotion of international mobility system, with a closer look for learning of languages and vocational training. As hosting organization, Enea counts two tutors, two teachers and a technician, who will help the participants in their integration with the local territory and in the discovery of the most appreciated public places, as in the solving of potential problems and in the research of new opportunities.
